• Accommodation on Air Batang (or ABC as it is locally called)
• Being the backpackers preferred beach, there are many accommodation options here. You have a choice of paying RM10 for a shared dorm room, RM20 to RM60 per night for a stand alone fan chalet with attached bathrooms or RM80 to RM200 per night for an air conditioned room/chalet. All rooms are located along a long stretch of beach so none are too far away from the water.
• Tioman has the luxury of 24 hour electricity so no sudden power cuts or loud generators to contend with. Also, running water flow from our taps.
• No prior booking for ABC is usually necessary as most places cater for walk-ins primarily so just come and choose something you like. Accommodation can get very full though during school holiday or long public holiday weekends so do email ahead of time if you aren't sure or feel better if you have a secure booking beforehand.

• One of the closest places to the Dive Centre.
• Johan's House offers clean and comfortable chalets with air conditioning that can sleep 2 or 3 people at RM80/chalet per night.
• Fan chalets with attached bathrooms that can sleep 2 people in a double bed are RM35/night.
